Ryan Petersen is a clinical pharmacist who collaborates with clinics and physicians to navigate the complexities of medications. He earned his bachelor's degree and a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Oregon State University and completed his residency training at Samaritan Health Services. His medical areas of interest include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic pain, and anticoagulation. He provides evidence-based education on chronic disease states and medication management strategies and works to involve patients in the decision-making process to promote buy-in to the care plan.
Ryan provides clinical pharmacy services for Primary Care at Chase Gardens Medical Center North and Endocrinology at Gateway Medical Center. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is also the Residency Program Director.
Outside work, Ryan enjoys connecting with family and friends and pursuing outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and camping.
